A British car show called Top Gear made history in Abu Dhabhi, United Arab Emirates. They put together the fastest cars ever made, Bugatti Veyron EB 16.4 and Mclaren F1 in a drag race.

Bugatti Veyron is the current fastest production car, and the McLaren F1 was the fastest production for 14 years until, Bugatti came out in 2008.

The Bugatti Veyron has a 8.0 liter W16 engine with 4 turbo chargers, that produces 1001 hp. It does 0-60 mph in 2.5 seconds and has a top speed 253 mph (400 KPH). Bugatti being the fastest production car is also the most expensive costing $1.6 Million. Well, you don't pay all that just for performance, the interior is full of leather and everything else that looks likes its from space, in other words it look like a 1.6 million dollar car from the inside.

The Bugatti normally runs on 500 hp. However, there is a special key which is inserted by the door, when you do so the diffuser flaps close and rear spoiler retracts and the whole car lowers down and then the car gets its full 1001 hp. That's why a general car has 1 radiator the Bugatti has 10. Only 200 Bugatti's have been produced since 2008.

The McLaren F1 has a 6.1 Liter V12 BMW engine, which produces 627 HP and reaches the top speed of 240mph(390 KPH). McLaren was the first carbon fiber bodied car. However, the interior is very simple, it has no gizmoz compared to the buggati. What is does have is a seat in the middle to give you a thrilling driving expereince. Another intresting thing is that McLaren's carbon fibre body panels and monocoque required significant heat insulation in the engine compartment so there was a gold line installed because gold is a high reflecor of heat. McLaren costed about $900,000 in 1998 today it would cost you more then double. In 2008 a british autombile company actioned it for 4.1 million dollars. There were only 106 cars manufactured.

Well, now you know why these cars cost a lot and why they are worth the price. So lets see you won the race.

In love with the CLK 63 Black Series

Man made the most wonderful thing on earth or lets say Mercedes AMG created somthing astonishing. The CLK 63 Black Series. Its a Modified CLK with a 6.2 Liter V8, which produces 500 HP with 465 lb-ft torque, and does 0 to 60 MPH in 4.1 seconds, with a top speed of 186MHP (300KPH)

The best thing about this car is that AMG has tried to shed as much wieght as they could off this car. There rear seats have been taken off, it has a DTM-style square-bottomed wheel, miniature forged-aluminium gear stick, and there is carbon fibre everywhere. Carbon fibre can also be found all over the exterior. Both front and rear bumpers are made of the stuff, as are the front brake ducts, the multi-finned rear diffuser and the boot-lid spoiler. The car can also be used on a day to day basis as it has a stereo, air conditioning and satellite navigation.

Instead of saying anything about the handling i suggest you watch the video where Jeremy Clarkson of top gear has reviewed the CLK BLack.

I am in love with the CLK, specially after watching the video. Yes, the car is very challenging, but that's when you enjoy driving. Yes, for this type of performance you have to pay the price, $150,000, but i am pretty sure its worth the price. The car does look beautiful and is something i would buy eyes closed. However, there is something else that distracts me, its the new Audi R8. However, i would still get the CLK, because the new R8 has come out with a faster engine, a V10 5.2 liter Gallardo engine, but it goes over the price limit. I can still go for the under powered V8 version, but i'd rather pay for performance then looks, and pay less. The CLK is my new favorite, its a thriller car.

Welcome to my blog Exotic Car Reviews. On my blog, every week i will post 1 - 3 articles on exotic cars. They will mostly be about cars that are over the price range of $60000 and that are fast, luxuries and exotic. Cars such as BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Ferrari, Lamborghini etc. There will be no posts on muscle cars, classic cars or mods (such as civcis etc.) but your comments and comparisons are welcome.

I am a big exotic car enthusiast because, firstly, I was raised in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Its a oil rich country in the middle east. People in Dubai love speed and luxury or lets say men. As a young kid a saw more Ferrari's and Lamborghini's then Civic's and Toyota's. Hence, i was attracted to extoics. I know i cant afford these cars but i can dream of having one and talking about them.

On my blog, I will post a short article from a website or in my own words on a car that interests me, with a picture or a video from YouTube, followed by what i think about the car.
